There are various platforms related to the general fashion business, such as Joor, NuORDER, FashionGo, Le New Black, Brandboom, etc. However, we found no well-made platforms focused on the trading luxury fashion B2B industry. We decided to build a new one to help participants in this industry.

We have long discussed the luxury fashion B2B industry and found several ideas for creating an online product to improve the processes. Here is a simple illustration of them.

We can move to the enhanced trading process.

If we make the searchable coherent templates with a database rather than Excel-based line sheets, it will help a lot of buyers. We are using every different form to order products, so we must spend much time selecting what we want to buy. Therefore, we have built a parsing engine for various line sheets. That makes it possible to provide consistent templates about the luxury fashion products in the world. With this engine, we can quickly find the goods that we want to order. 

We can track a long trading process easily with participants.

We need many participants to complete only one trading process, such as global distributors, intermediary trading companies, trading agencies, transportation companies, customs agencies, and buyers. So, we started to build software for them to share their status, documents, etc, efficiently. They can receive notifications at the right time with multiple channels they want.

We can efficiently match participants’ tastes for the seller’s order rules and the buyer’s needs.

Generally, all distributors have their own order rules, and all buyers have their own needs to sell to the final customers. It takes hard work to match exactly them with hands. Consequently, we started researching an algorithm to find optimized partners with conditions in the fashion industry. It will save time, and they could focus on more important jobs.

We gave the name for our online product, Pathrade.com. It combines two words: path and trade. We want to help many people in this industry find a better path to trade.
